brighter than sunshine

for no good reason, i'm stirring the dust. nothing fancy.

i believe the words of my father when he said "you're only as good as your last performance"... but it's sort of the antithesis to making a good first impression because you are prompted to do your best but ultimately to quit rather than continue to excel and strive for longevity.

i am conflicted.
